When rationing other items some of them you had to grow , while others you Could just buy it . For example : Flour , wheat and so on . During rationing times to encourage the children to grow their own vegetables , they had to grow the biggest turnip/ fruit, but they also had to have the biggest weighing animal.

when they had to ration they had to store there food and they didn't have a lot.It had to last for a week.
